DEL MAGUEY SINGLE VILLAGE MEZCAL

Founded in 1995 by contemporary artist Ron Cooper, Del Maguey paved the way for artisanal mezcals beyond the borders of Mexico. Each expression of Del Maguey is produced by a different family, located in different villages. These indigenous Zapotec and Mixtec communities produce distinctive mezcals, following ancestral production methods. From growing the agave to distilling, it is after years of patience and tedious work that the mezcals finally emerge from the rudimentary stills. Unique and mastered products, rich, fruity, smoky.
