Direct pressing, aging for 7 months on lees in stainless steel vats. 2022 is the first vintage of this vintage.
On the nose it is a very fresh wine which presents notes of white flesh fruits, citrus fruits, but also nuts. On the palate it is an explosive wine, which first presents a beautiful acidity and freshness which will be followed by a very pleasant buttery texture.

🍸 A white wine as fresh as it is structured which can be drunk as an aperitif, accompanied by asparagus, white fish, poultry or even a beautiful strawberry salad with raw cream.

Jean Baptiste and Patricia Ferrandi, as well as their son Vincent, settled in early 2020 after 15 years as nurses. A total reconversion.
It took almost 2 years of titanic work to rehabilitate the old family lands of Jean Baptiste and rediscover an atypical estate in Corsica, the Closed U SUALE. These lands of their ancestors which had been cultivated until the end of the second war then abandoned, to let nature reclaim its rights.
Vineyard planted in high density, on old dry stone terraces and trellised with stakes. A crazy bet! Nothing could have been done without the mentality, the support of their loved ones and friends and especially their son, also passionate about vines and gastronomy.
Corsican Malvasia, Niellucciu and Grenache are the primary grape varieties of the Clos. And century-old vines offer beautiful muscat and rossula Bianca grapes.
They work organically and biodynamically, with little or no treatment and plowing with horses. They want to bring grapes of exceptional quality into the cellar in order to produce wines using natural vinification, both surprising and complex, but above all wines that tell a story, their story. Wines of emotion...
Finally, they are proud to be the first PDO in the world to have introduced exclusively organic and pesticide-free cultivation in its specifications this year.
